Buff DesMarais died Monday, May 23rd, while pursuing one of his passions - white water rafting. For the last several years he was able to work just part-time so that he could better enjoy the company of his wife & children, grandson, sister and her family and many good friends while hiking, biking, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, white water rafting, working out at the gym, ATVing or watching one of his favorite teams (Steelers, Penn State, Whitworth, Gonzaga, Mariners & Spokane Indians) play baseball, football or basketball. Great guy....going to be missed at the gym. Always happy, even when suffering from his knee pain. I was always picking on him, and if I stopped, he thought I was sick.
